I would learn to fly if I had the time and money.

I would learn to fly if I had the time and money...
I'm guessing I'm not the only person who has ever uttered that phrase.
I'm 22 years old and time and money are really the only reasons I haven't pursued my dream of flight up to this point in my life.
About 2 months ago, before I began my flight instruction with ATU, I was sitting in front of my computer trying to find a way around the obstacles of time and money.
I wasn't making very much progress. It seemed that all the flight schools I looked at charged upwards of $80K(not exactly low cost flight), you had to move away from home and leave your job, and you were encouraged to take care of your financial obligation with a high interest loan.
Well, that didn't make a lot of sense to me.
It definitely didn't solve my time and money concerns.
Finally, I stumbled across ATU's website.
I was blown away by what this school offered.
First of all, I wasn't encouraged to take out a loan to pay for my flight instruction, I was actually discouraged to do so!
I learned that as a student of ATU, I could work with the school to help finance my training costs.
That means I would be working in my own business making a great deal of my training expenses a legitimate tax deduction.
What a concept!
Now that is engaging brain!
Speaking of making intelligent business decisions, what I am most excited about with my involvement in this school is that myself and every future ATU student will get a business education as well as an aviation education.
That is something that will make a difference in anyone's life regardless of their career or business path.
So that took care of my money concerns, now what about time?
Well, I learned that I could conduct my flight training with ATU anywhere in the world and keep my current job if I chose to!
So that did away with any time concerns.
Bottome line - for those of us who have dreamed of flight and never moved toward that goal because of "time and money" - that is no longer a valid excuse!
